Reports of the Loveless tour warned that the band played so loud, audiences were prone to nausea and vomiting – not just because the cheap lager was nauseas. Sure enough, my girlfriend at the time succumbed and the evening was interrupted. But having seen the band up North during Isn’t Anything’s strange reign, the Loveless shows were truly disorientating. Couldn’t see the shoes or their gaze, just a fog of light and wall of immense sound. Closer to Sunn O))) or Swans than Ride or Slowdive. Never bettered, if that sort of assault is your thing.

A small dab of paint on the left sleeve doesn’t detract from a rare treasure from the 90’s kings. Era defining and remaining a cult icon of the scene that celebrated itself, this LS Tee is a bit of a one-off. And has since been reprinted by Supreme of all people. Hype.
