The Midnight Organ Fight was a definitive document of youth, pills, alcohol, self-doubt and seedy sex. It soundtracked a complete year for me - there was no-one who didn't hear me espouse it's brute lyrical force.

Then The Winter of Mixed Drinks landed on March 1, 2010 to up the ante.  For the second time in 2010 at Koko, Scott Hutchison (RIP), brother Grant & band ripped the hearts out of a growing assembly. A communal exorcism.

While I'm alive, I continue to make tiny changes to earth.
