SUFJAN STEVENS Greetings from Michigan (XL)

Unquestionably the moment when the orchestral folk of Sufjan started to bubble into the mainstream. Sufjan and his band took to the stage at Bush Hall in Shepherd's Bush London for a transcendental festival of songs, Angel wings and overhead projector slides of maps which Sufjan drew over to illustrate his map of the states.

Annie Clarke (aka St. Vincent) stood to his left angelic as always.
